Website Design Copyright Statement

Copyright Ownership
Under this agreement, all intellectual property rights in website design deliverables (including but not limited to design drafts, code, graphics, interfaces, layouts) created by [MAIV LTD ] (“Designer”) for [Client Name] (“Client”) shall remain vested in the Designer until full payment of contractual fees is received.
Upon complete payment, the Designer shall transfer full copyright ownership (or grant specified licences) to the Client as per contractual terms. -
Usage Rights & Restrictions
The Client obtains non-exclusive usage rights within agreed scopes (e.g., corporate websites, designated purposes) post full payment. The Client shall not without written consent from the Designer:
- Apply deliverables to other commercial projects or resale;
- Reverse-engineer, modify code structures, or re-distribute deliverables;
- Remove copyright notices or Designer attributions (if stipulated).

Designer’s Reserved Rights
The Designer retains rights to use deliverables in portfolios, case studies, and promotional materials (including screenshots, links), unless confidentiality is formally requested.
Ownership of conceptual designs, unused prototypes, and generic code frameworks remains with the Designer. -
Third-party Materials
For any third-party materials (e.g., images, fonts, plugins) incorporated, the Client must ensure lawful authorisation. The Designer may provide sourcing information but bears no joint liability for third-party infringements. -
Infringement Reporting
Notify the Designer immediately via [contact email/address] regarding any copyright violations. The Designer reserves the right to pursue legal remedies. -
Disclaimer
The Designer assumes no liability for disputes arising from the Client’s unlawful use of deliverables. -
Amendments
The Designer may revise this statement unilaterally, with revised terms taking effect upon website publication.
